Urgent Plea

On behalf of Aria Group KC, we’re sharing two urgent pleas from members of our community who are facing difficult circumstances. If you are in a position to help—whether financially or with resources—your support would be greatly appreciated.

We currently have two separate families who desperately need support:

1) Supporting Mrs. Samin and Her 10-Year-Old Daughter
Mrs. Samin recently arrived in the United States (about four months ago winning lottery) and holds a valid green card. She is currently in Texas but hopes to relocate to the Kansas City area due to affordability and community support. She is seeking:
• A safe place to stay immediately
• Job opportunities to support herself
• Help enrolling her daughter in 4th grade

2) Supporting Mrs. Farzaneh and Her 3-Year-Old Son
Mrs. Farzaneh has been in Lawrence, Kansas for the past two months winning lottery. She also needs:
• Help getting established with housing and employment
• Support adjusting to life with her young child
