Mailing Packages to Embargoed Countries

Dear Iranian Community,
We would like to inform you of a change in the U.S. Postal Service’s policy regarding mailing packages to Iran. Knowing this information prior to going to the post office will save you time and inconvenience. With the new policy change, you can no longer just go to the post office and ship a package to Iran without first obtaining a reference number from the government. This reference number is required on the shipping form to send a package. You must get this reference number from the government website for mailing packages to embargoed countries.
